Section 106 Compliance

Section 106 compliance requires historic architectural resource surveys to identify historic buildings, structures, and sites within the area of potential effect. At Edwards-Pitman Environmental, we evaluate properties, within their historic contexts, for National Register of Historic Places eligibility and collaborate with design professionals to avoid and minimize impact to historic resources.

Our work has supported private development activities, local and state government construction projects requiring a federal permit, and federally-funded construction activities. We understand that historic architecture is integral to our collective cultural heritage and should be preserved for future generations to enjoy.
